Project Muso - Bamako, Mali

Project Muso is a non-profit organization based in Yirimadjo, Mali. Project Muso partners with mothers in Mali to enable them to free themselves of poverty and disease. Through their Participatory Education Program, Springboard Microfinance Program, and Community-Based Malaria Program, Malian women are afforded an opportunity to turn their hopes into real possibilities. Collaborating closely with Yirimadjo's Management Committees, Project Muso also supports community activists and leaders to prioritize and develop their own solutions to crises of poverty and health they face. These programs complement and reinforce each other, creating a new virtuous cycle of community mobilization, education, enterprise, and access to health resources. Through the concerted efforts and investments of many individuals and organizations, Project Muso is nurturing the seeds of grassroots health.

KeyCredit - Accra, Ghana

KeyCredit was founded in January 2007. They have been in operation for four years now and the company continues to grow steadily. The company provides financial services and training programs to Ghanaian micro and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs. KeyCredit focuses on providing innovative business specific financial solutions to entrepreneurs who do not have access to the traditional tailored financial services and credit they need to transform their lives. KeyCredit's training programs hone these entrepreneur's acumen in business, health and financial management with a holistic focus on improvements in their standards of living.

APROS, Mexico

APROS is a Mexican Microfinance Institution, whose mission is to help raise the quality of life of our customers by offering entrepreneurs financial services and business development - hoping to raise the quality of life for women and men. APROS currently has 7,462 clients and has been operating since 2001.

Association For Sustainable Community Development - Chennai, India

The Association of Sustainable Community Development (ASSCOD), formed in 1994, was originally focused on health issues of the poor people. ASSCOD has gradually expanded its focus on promoting the social and economic development of the rural poor, especially through the women empowerment, education and disaster management. ASSCOD's main approach centered on the emerging Community based organizations which take up the development challenges and to lead a sustainable development through linkages and networks with banks and government organizations.Since 2003, ASSCOD's encouraged the concept of self-help groups; organizing women into small groups, encouraging micro savings and credit imparting skills and awareness training to the beneficiaries.
